The English Project

The English Project is a language school to help people whose first language is not English to adapt to life in West Kent. Students are taught in small classes by two qualified teachers at levels from beginner to intermediate.

Lessons are held on Wednesdays at 4:00pm and 7:00pm and students are welcome to stay on after the lessons to practise their English in our friendly cafe. Our staff and volunteers are also available to help students who have questions about life in Britain.

All nationalities are welcome; we have had students from Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Afghamistan, India, Bangladesh, South Korea and Brazil.

Lessons are held at New Life Church, The Old Ambulance Station on Speldhurst Road in Tunbridge Wells (click here for a map and directions).
