Hepatitis C
I started coming to the Alpha course at New Life Church, and half way through Mark asked, “Is there anything wrong?” I think Mark had worked out already that there was something wrong with my blood. In 2007 I had been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. In addition to this, I had also continued using drugs, making my health worse and worse. When I eventually got into a situation where I thought I was going to die I managed to turn things around, with God's help. However, I still had Hepititis C and bi-polar defective disorder which I have to take medication for.
So over two or three ocassions the guys on the Alpha Course prayed for me and week-by-week, I felt I was getting stronger and stronger. I faced up to the fact I was going to have to take the treatment, which can take up to a year which can be really hard. I was frightened of doing it but I went and had the initial blood test. I had to wait four weeks for the results and was very worried. But I went back a few weeks ago and the said, “Well, it’s gone, it’s just gone!!”
Furthermore, I went to see the psychiatrist because Mark also told me that God had said that He would stop me moving up and down like a yo-yo and keep me in a safe area. So I went and spoke to the psychiatrist and after so many hours they said that that was in remission as well! It’s a miracle!
