Welcome to New Life Church. To many church is a stuffy old institution that is irrelevant to modern life. To us, the Church is where God's intimate presence empowers believers for supernatural life and service. As we grow, we want to build the sort of church that cannot exist without Him.
We hope you'll enjoy taking a look around and will begin to get excited about what God is doing here. Why don't you start by looking at some of the questions we often get asked:
Where are you located? Our office is based in Tunbridge Wells (click here for a map and directions). On Sundays we meet in two different places; Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.
When do you meet? We meet together every Sunday morning in each location from 10:00am to 12:00pm. We also have various ministries and small groups that meet throughout the week. Click here to find out more about what is going on during the week this week.
What are your meetings like? Our meetings are relaxed and infomal. We love to worship God through modern and creative music. No two services are the same but every time we meet, our main aim is to encounter God and learn more about what it means to live for Him. What do you offer for children? On Sundays our meetings in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge both offer a creche (for children aged 0 to 2) and a Sunday School (for ages 3 to 11). Midweek, we also run a mums and toddlers group on Tuesday mornings, a dads and toddlers group on the first Saturday of each month and Kidz Klub (for ages 4 to 11) on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:45pm. All our children's workers are CRB checked.
What do you offer for teenagers? On Sundays our meeting in Tunbridge Wells offers a youth group during the meeting (for ages 11 to 14). Our congregation in Tonbridge does not have a youth group during the meeting. Midweek, our Ignite youth group meets every Friday evening between 7:30pm and 9:30pm.
What are your core beliefs? There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed himself to be eternally self-existent – one being in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For the rest of our core beliefs click here.
Do you pray for the sick? We regularly pray for people at our meetings in Tunbridge Wells and in Tonbridge and have many true stories of miraculous healings amongst our friends and members.
How do I become a member of New Life Church? We regularly run membership courses which is your opportunity to learn more about us, and our opportunity to get to know you. What is your connection with Newfrontiers? We are in partnership with Newfrontiers. We share common values but enjoy local autonomy. Newfrontiers is an international team ministry led by Terry Virgo. It's mission is to advance the Kingdom through restoring the church, making disciples, training leaders, planting churches and reaching nations with the good news about Jesus Christ.
